The iPad training session was really an eye opener for me. I don't own an iPad but since my parents have the iPhone which is similar to the iPad, I learnt how to use it own my own. I was really surprised when I was suddenly chosen as iPad trainer of the day. Many questions came to my mind. My chinese isn't good at all. What if most of them only understand chinese? Will my voice be loud enough? And the biggest question of all: Will I be a good trainer?

Honestly, I was nervous before we started the "lesson". Fortunately,I had Yong Xiang who would help me to translate. Furthermore, the majority of the elderly understood English. I was relieved when I found out about that. Soon, we started the iPad training session. I presented on the basics of iPad like how to switch it on, move icons, access applications, etc. Actually, we spent most of the time playing the games on the iPad. The elderly were all very lively and eager to learn about this high-tech gadget. However, most of them felt that it was just for games. Haha. Well, during the last few minutes, I ended off saying,"Most of you might think that the iPad is just for games. But, you can actually find many useful applications such as iris, google maps etc on the application store."

All in all, I was happy everything went smoothly and glad that I managed to present the iPad. I do hope I get to interact with them again!
